Celebrating its 34th birthday, the team wanted to theme its event as a ‘Surrealists Ball’. I was contacted to create an animation and stills that would embody the evening and generate ticket sales leading up the event

Inspiration

Torture Garden have been the leading Fetish Club since 1990 and are renowned for their themed evenings, from concept to execution. As it was a birthday celebration I went through their photography archive to find images of attendees. I created a ‘celebration monster’ from these photos. This lead on to making a short Terry Gilliam- inspired animated loop which was used in their promotion and on screens throughout the evening
